The Ferrari Experience

What does the activity include? After a welcome on arrival and safety briefing you will be split into groups which rotate around the following thrilling activities. There is an Autotest to put your driving skills to the test and a superb drive in a Subaru Impreza WRX. Next you will enjoy driving a lightweight performance sports car - with a nerve-tangling acceleration of 0-62 in 5.5 seconds and learn to do handbrake and J-turns in a hatchback. Then it's time for the ultimate driving experience - taking the wheel of two Ferraris and putting the world's greatest Supercars through thier paces (typically a 348 and 355). Please note that the vehicle types are subject to availability. Where does the experience take place? Upper Heyfordin Oxfordshire or Elvington in Yorkshire. What should I wear? Casual clothing suitable for the time of year and a soft soled pair of shoes suitable for driving in. How long should I allow for this experience? You should allow approximately 3.5 hours on site actual driving time is approximately 35 minutes in total. When does the activity take place? The experience is scheduled to run on selected Weekdays and Saturdays between March - December. Courses usually start at either 09.30am or 2.00pm this will be confirmed to you at the time of booking. Are there any restrictions? Participants must present a full driving licence on the day which they must have held for at least 2 years. Minimum height 5'0'' Maximum height 6'6'' Maximum weight 16 stone Minimum age 19 years Each participant will be required to sign a medical indemnity on the day What about the weather? This course will only be cancelled in the case of extreme weather conditions if this happens then an alternative date will be arranged. Can I bring spectators? Spectators are welcome however for safety reasons these numbers are restricted to 2 per driver. We cannot allow persons under the age of 11 years to spectate and if between the ages of 11 and 16 years must be accompanied by a spectating adult. No dogs allowed. What else do I need to know? Personal Accident & Cancellation Insurance is included. Unfortunately there is no disabled access on site. Once a date is booked for this activity the centre requires a minimum of 14 days notice to change or cancel a booking. If you give less than 14 days notice then you will lose the entire course fee.
